I started mowing lawns in the early 1990's and it didn't take long for me to develop a clientele base in the Preston Hollow neighborhood where I grew up. From there, I began doing landscape work for my mother, Jane Polan, who started Primrose Gardens LLC in 1994. I started Immaculate Grounds in 2015 so that I could start taking on design jobs of my own. In 2017, eager to focus more on design and installation, I changed the name of my business from Immaculate Grounds to Immaculate Design and Install.
In my 20's and early 30's, I took a number of classes to better my knowledge and understanding of basic and advanced landscape design principles. These classes include an accredited landscape design course from Richland College and, most recently, The Earth Kind Landscape Design and Management School, taught by Dr. Steve George who serves as the landscape horticulture specialist for The Texas A&M Research and Extension Center. I continue to pursue my education by attending seminars at The Dallas Arboretum, The Texas A&M Research and Extension Center, local nurseries and Ewing Irrigation.
